throughout the years of middle school, high school, and now college, i feel like i have tried all of the different styles of makeup under the sun, haha! over winter break, i was watching a makeup tutorial by sofia richie grainge on tik tok, and fell in love with her natural look! i went to sephora the next day to pick up her favorite products and can confirm that it looked exactly like hers!
as i was looking through pictures to put as the cover for this post, the one from her bridal shoot was my favorite because i loved how natural her makeup was! i just loved how it was so light, sheer, radiant, glowy, and pretty!
i didn’t really know such sheer and natural makeup was out there or how to do it, but i followed her tutorial to a tee and loved how it turned out! it is now my everyday go-to makeup! before, i was using cc creams or concealer, but once i tried the products she used, i loved that i couldn’t really tell i was wearing makeup and that i could see my natural skin through what i put on!
i usually just put little pea-sized drops of the tinted moisturizer on my cheeks, forehead and chin and dot a little bit of the concealer if needed then put on the bronzer and a dot of blush once i blend the skin tint and concealer! in her video, she said that she used the blush shade for her wedding makeup, but was a little nervous to use it because of how orange it looks! she said that once it was on she thought it looked so natural and sunkissed and ended up loving it! wanted to include that just incase anyone was a little bit nervous about the orange color like i was at first! then i finish with translucent power and mascara and party because it only took 5 minutes to do! : )
i don’t typically wear any lip gloss or lipstick, but that is my next thing i want to branch out and try! i will be sure to report back if i find any good ones! : )
