SUMMER PLAYLIST

Hello Hello! I cannot believe that it has been over a month since I have last blogged! I am so happy to be back with my favorite little hobby after such a fun and busy month! Although it is almost September, I always feel like I have been one to not want rush the seasons, so I thought it would be fun to create my own little endless summer by sharing my summer playlist!! I hope these songs transport you to your own little slice of paradise! ;))

  • the joker – steve miller band 
    starting out strong with a classic from the iconic steve miller himself!! i listened to this song all summer and it is even more special to me now because my brother got to go to the concert a few weeks ago!! 
  • every little kiss – bruce hornsby and the range 
    i have no idea how found this song, but i am sooo happy i did! this is my favorite song they sing by far and possibly one of my favorite songs of all time! i think this song will definitely be going on my fall playlist too which is coming soon!! : )
  • arrivederci roma – jack jezzro 
    this summer i went through a huge kick of listening to the maggiano’s music soundtrack lol! i have the best memories of going to the maggiano’s on the las vegas strip when I was little and always loved the frank sinatra/dean martin/italian songs they would play! this song was on the maggiano’s playlist and even though i have never been to italy, this definitely transports you there! 
  • charlie brown – coldplay 
    in addition to watching the eagles documentary that created the eagles playlist a few blog posts back, I also watched the coldplay documentary with my family this summer which was amazing! i have always loved coldplay, but the documentary definitely took my love to a new level! a coldplay playlist will be coming soon but for now charlie brown was definitely a summer staple song! 
  • gold dust woman – fleetwood Mac
    I feel like this song is such a hidden gem! stevie nicks is just so talented and i would definitely consider myself such a big fleetwood mac fan! this is another one of those songs that will probably make it on the fall playlist too! 
  • heartache tonight – michael buble 
    ok I think this takes the cake as my favorite song on the playlist and maybe one of my favorite songs ever! heartache tonight is one of my favorite songs by the eagles, and so when I found out that michael buble did a cover of it I literally freaked out! it is the perfect mix of a classy classic but is such a good tribute to the eagles!! 
  • Give It Up – KC and the Sunshine band 
    My dad discovered this song and i’ll never forget him playing it all for us in the car while we were driving home from dinner! This is now one of my favorite songs of all time and I still can’t stop listening to it! it sounds like summer in a bottle and I hope you love it too!
  • rather be – jess glynne
    i am cracking up even putting this on here because it is sooo old but this is another song that is so quintessentially summer!! i remember listening to this on repeat in 6th grade and am happy to say not much changed this summer!
  • when i think of you – janet jackson 
    my family and i love café rio from growing up in vegas, so when we visit my grandparents in california we take the trek up to san clemente to get it all the time!! one of the times we went up there this song was on the radio and i totally forgot how good it is! 
  • borderline – madonna 
    my mom sent me this song one day this summer and i haven’t been able to stop listening to it! an oldie but goodie!
  • mandolin rain – bruce hornsby and the range 
    i first heard this song on the life with john mayer radio station on sirius xm which is the best! i’ve always loved the song the valley road by bruce hornsby, but mandolin rain is definitely up there in my list of favorite songs they’ve made!!
